We wish to repeat the distillation in Examples 10-2 and 10-3 except using valve trays. The valves have a 2-in. diameter head. For the top of the column, estimate the pressure drop vs. hole velocity curve. Assume that \(\mathrm{K}_{\mathrm{v}}\) and \(\mathrm{C}_{\mathrm{v}}\) values are the same as in Figure 10-22. Each valve weighs approximately \(0.08 \mathrm{lbm}\).
