Entity Relationship Modeling For each of these scenarios, draw an ER model using any standard notation, clearly denoting maximum and minimum cardinality constraints. Write the one liner and four sentences for each diagram (statements that specify degree and mandatoriness of each entity, if applicable). Number of tables needed and the columns in the tables especially Primary and Foreign Key postings must be complete. Your diagram must be complete in all respects with all notations to receive full credit. SQL statements to create the tables necessary should be provided. 1. Parts are described by partnum, color, and price. Parts can be subassemblies as well and this means that they contain other parts. One part cannot be a component of more than one subassembly but a subassembly can contain many other parts. A part need not be a component of any subassembly (please note that a subassembly is a part well), but a subassembly must contain more than one part. 2. A student in a high school may play many sports. Each sport has one varsity team that has a coach, and a school location where they play home games. Obviously a team can contain many players. A team must contain at least one student and a student need not play any sports. The number of wins and losses are also recorded against each team. 3. All employees have an id, name, department and datejoined. In addition, salespersons have commission and salary, consultants have hourly rates and a vendor firm, and regular employees have simply yearly salary. An employee must belong to only of the subgroups and all employees belong to one of these three categories. 4. A dissertation committee has exactly one chairperson and two other members, and the same committee can supervise the dissertation of many doctoral students, typically not more than five. A student must have exactly one committee supervising his/her dissertation and a committee must have at least one student. A dissertation committee has a start date and is dissolved when the last student has graduated and the committee has no more students.
