Control Description: - Question 2: Answer all parts Consider the common task of box filling, as depicted in Figure Q2. The system, which contains a motor driven conveyor, a bulk storage silo, a solenoid controlled valve and sensors is to be controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). to { Try d Filling Solenoid Valve (YO) find Start the conveyor when the start button is momentarily pressed. Stop the conveyor when stop button is momentarily pressed. Energize a run indicator light when the process is operating. Energize a standby indicator light when the process is stopped. Stop the conveyor when the right edge of the box is first sensed by a box position sensor. Motor (Y1) With the box in position and the conveyor stopped, open the filling solenoid valve and allow the box to fill with the silo material. Filling should stop when box level sensor goes true. Energize the full indicator when the box is full. The full indicator should remain energized until the box is moved clear of the box position sensor. Silo Standby Indicator Full Indicator answers.
