Investigate a corporate failure related to sustainability. Provide us with the following information:

What is the scandal?

What were the main factors that caused the scandal?

How did they address the concerns of the public? Did it go beyond public backlash into legislation? What was the legislation, if it did?

What factors brought them there? Did they have have a sustainability plan?

What was their plan to move forward from the scandal? Has it been successful?

Then investigate a different company, and find out what their sustainability mission is. Do they have one? What is it, if they do have one?

Give your opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of their responses. Incorporate information from the readings from modules 7 & 8. Then respond to at least two peers on the following:

Did you see similar strengths and weaknesses from their perspective of the companies actions/plans?

What was most surprising to you about how the company did (or didn't!) respond
