For October 2021, Trußent Machining's manufacturing activities generated the records shown in the Data sheet. Trußent worked on numerous Jobs that month and each data record pertains to the inputs for each job. The records are in chronological order and each record has fields for Year, Month, Day, Job No., Type, Sub-Category, and Quantity (measured in appropriate input units - for example, labor and machine quantities are measured in hours.) In order to complete the assignment you will need to do the following activities: 1. Watch video and use the practice data (optional if you already know to work with Excel Tables and PivotTables). 2. Prepare the Data by adding Unit Costs and item Costs as explained on the Data tab. 3. Create an Excel table using the data in the Data tab. 4. Use the Excel table to create a PivotTable located in the Pivot 2 tab. -S. Answer the questions given below. a. Some of the questions pertain to the specific Job high-lighted in Green below. Note that this job is keyed to your UIN. Therefore be sure that you have entered your UIN and Name on the "Name & ID" tab. Ob. Some of the questions pertain to the entirety of the data set and not a particular job. 2 Among the objectives are to determine the total amount of costs added in October to WIP and 3 to Job No. 4 5 The Costs per unit for each type of input by category are given in the table below. 6 Machine costs are treated as overhead. Direct costs pertain to materials and labor. 7 There are two types of labor, "skilled" and "normal". Each has a separate 28 cost per labor hour. There are three types of materials used by Trußent, 29 once again each material is measured in an appropriate input unit and the 30 cost per unit is with respect to that input unit. 31 32 6501 Type 33 OH Category Cost per unit Machine T1 35.00 34 Machine T2 42.00 35 Machine T3 45.00 5.25 36 Materials Mat X1 37 Mat X2 7.50 38 Mat X3 13.20 39 Labor Normal 29.00 40 Skilled %24 41.00 Required - Part 1 Questions 1 to 6 pertain only to Job No. ===> Enter your answers in the appropriate Yellow shaded cell!!! 6501 Determine the total Direct Material costs added (to WIP) in October Q1 7Determine the total Direct Labor costs added in October Q2 9 Determine the total Machine 1 related OH costs added in October Q3 1 Determine the total Machine 2 related OH costs added in October Q4 3 Determine the total Machine 3 related OH costs added in October 4 55 Determine the total manufacturing costs added in October 56 Required - Part 2 57 Questions 7 to 12 pertain to all work done in October (i.e., include all jobs) 58 Determine the total Direct Material costs added in October 59 60 Determine the total Direct Labor costs added in October 61 62 Determine the total Machine 1 related OH costs added in October Q5 Q6 Q7 Q8 Q9 63 64 Determine the total Machine 2 related OH costs added in October Q10 65 66 Determine the total Machine 3 related OH costs added in October Q11 67 68 Determine the total manufacturing costs added in October 69 Required - Part 3 70 Questions 13 to 18 pertain to all work done on October 27 through October 30 (inclusive) 71 Determine the total Direct Material costs added Q12 Q13 72 73 Determine the total Direct Labor costs added Q14 74 75 Determine the total Machine 1 related OH costs added Q15 76 77 Determine the total Machine 2 related OH costs added Q16 78 79 Determine the total Machine 3 related OH costs added Q17 80 81 Determine the total manufacturing costs added 82 Reguired Part 4 Q18 Required- Part 4 Questions 19 to 20 Assume the actual overhead for the October is: $ 140,500 Answer the following two questions regarding the closing of the mfg. overhead 5 accounts for the month.
