Richard and Philip are lawyers and have been in partnership for over 10 years. Richard being a senior partner draws a salary of 20,000 per annum and the balance of the profit shared equally. Lien who has been an employee for a number of years was made a partner on 1 July 2022. Richard continued to receive salary and the balance of the profit shared 40:50:10 between Richard, Philip and Lien respectively.
