I am a high school teacher with fourteen years of experience. The majority of my experience has been working with students with learning disabilities in the areas of math, science and history. As a young student, I absolutely hated math because I did not understand it. Once it was explained to me in a way that made sense to me, I really enjoy it. Due to the struggle that I had, I find it easier to connect with students who are also struggling and help them find a way to understand and enjoy it.
