Project Draft #3: Describe ANALYZE Strategy after showing the need to improve the forecasting process, we needed to develop a system that is accurate in predicting customer demand. This system should be able to identify trends in customer behavior and provide reliable predictions of customer demand. To accomplish this, we need to gather and analyze customer data, such as purchase history, customer preferences, and demographic information. This needs to identify and implement appropriate forecasting techniques, such as time series analysis and regression models. Once the system has been developed, we will need to measure its accuracy by comparing the predictions made by the system with actual customer demand. We will also need to measure customer satisfaction by surveying customers after their orders have been completed. Finally, we will need to measure the impact of the system on our inventory costs.
Now we want to continue this project proposal and add a plan for the ANALYZE phase of this project.
1-How to interpret the data collected in the previous MEASURE phase?
2-Is the data appropriate for a Pareto Analysis and how.
3-Is there a process where it would be helpful to know the takt time and how?
4-Do you have an event or quality problem that could use a root cause analysis?
5-We need a plan for analyzing the data collected.
6-Describe a potential problem where you can ask the "5 Why's" and brainstorm improvements using a Fishbone Diagram structure.
