Do pharmaceutical companies have an ethical responsibility to correct erroneous information about their products on sites such as Wikipedia?

Where do Americans go when they need medical information? More than 60 percent turn to the Internet, and half of those go to social networks, such as Twitter and Face book, to consult with others about diagnosis and treatments. According to pharmaceutical companies, however, much of the information that potential customers are finding online is incorrect.
