During 2000 a company implemented a number of policies aimed at reducing the ages of its customers' accounts. In order to assess the effectiveness of these measures, the company randomly selects 10 customer accounts. The average age of each account is determined for each of the years 1999 and 2000. These data are given in Table 18.17. Use a nonparametric technique to attempt to show that average account ages have decreased from 1999 to 2000. Use α = .05.
