Each year Corporate Responsibility magazine publishes its list of the 100 best corporate citizens.
The magazine rates companies on performance in seven stakeholder categories: (1) environment, (2) climate change, (3) human rights, (4) employee relations, (5) corporate governance, (6) philanthropy, and (7) financial. In 2011, the top 10 corporate citizens were Johnson Controls, Campbell Soup, International Business Machines, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mattel, 3M, Accenture, Kimberly-Clark, Hewlett-Packard, and Nike.
For each of the seven dimensions on which the magazine reported ratings, give a one-sentence description of what you think would make for good corporate citizenship. Based on your knowledge of these 10 companies, however limited that is, predict the top 2 companies in each of the seven rated categories.
