Form groups of four students. Have each group get five to seven pictures (from magazines or pictures they take) of people (from different cultures if possible) illustrating different facial expressions, body positions, and gestures. Identify what emotion or meaning is being conveyed in each picture. Then ask classmates who represent cultures other than those in the pictures if the emotions or meanings conveyed are the same in their culture.
