Keep the spirit of Valentine’s Day alive from the privacy of your own room with a romantic movie marathon. Or, if you’re against Valentine’s Day as a piece of consumerist propaganda, you can indulge in some anarchist, anti-romance, anti-establishment cult classics that rage against the machine.
Throw a Love Yourself Party
February can be a drag, due to the amount of societal pressure that comes with finding a mate. So, throw a party for all those single people out there, where you can all appreciate you for you and start to change the conversation away from romantic love and toward platonic and personal love.
Campus-Wide Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts are a great way to get active as well as reward your love is done with some chocolates. You can even get a little creative, leaving clues at important places in your relationship across campus, culminating at a restaurant where you and celebrate Valentine’s Day with some fine dining.

There is nothing you can do that will be more romantic than what your partner has seen on the silver screen. So, resign yourself to your fate and just tape what they already know they love to deliver a memorable day.
Host a Sex Awareness Rally
Sex-ed classes in high school are terrible about teaching you anything about sex, other than it will give you an STD. Rather than living in fear of it, or ignorantly jumping in without any real information, host a rally where you can talk openly about sex and safe sex practices to prevent STD’s and unwanted pregnancies.
Enjoy the Company of the People You Care About
This is what Valentine’s Day should be about. Not scrambling to find someone to hold your hand and longingly look into your eyes, but to show love and appreciation to those that make this wacky, unstable world a bit easier to stomach.
