Farnum presents data concerning the elapsed times from the completion of medical lab tests until the results are recorded on patients’ charts. Table 3.8 gives the times it took (in hours) to deliver and chart the results of 84 lab tests over one week. Use the techniques of this and the previous chapter to determine if there are some deliveries with excessively long waiting times.
