A uniform slender rod AB of mass m and length L has a vertical velocity of magnitude v1 and no angular velocity when it strikes a rigid frictionless support at point C. Knowing that h = L/4 and assuming perfectly plastic impact, determine
(a) The angular velocity of the rod and the velocity of its mass center immediately after the impact,
(b) The impulse exerted on the rod at point C.
