Reconsider Prob. 3.1-11, where the management of the Omega Manufacturing Company is considering devoting excess production capacity to one or more of three products. (See the Partial Answers to Selected Problems in the back of the book for additional information about this problem.) Management now has decided to add the restriction that no more than two of the three prospective products should be produced.
(a) Introduce auxiliary binary variables to formulate an MIP model for this new version of the problem.
(b) Use the computer to solve this model.
