Obtain a comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) of a state or local government (SLG). Familiarize yourself with the financial statements and disclosures with respect to the SLG’s Debt Service Funds.

Required 

a. How many DSFs are maintained by the SLG? What is the purpose of each DSF? (Attach a. copy of the DSF narrative explanations.) b. Does this SLG employ a type of DSF you were not expecting based on the DSF coverage of this chapter? If so, explain. c. Note the format and content of the DSF balance sheet. Are any format features or content different from those that you expected? If so, explain. d. Note the format and content of the DSF Statement of Revenues, Expenditures, and Changes in Fund Balance. Are any format features or content different from those that you expected? If so, explain. e. Attach a copy of the combining or individual fund DSF financial statements.
