In terms of format and structure what type of annual report does a small shareholder need?

Annual reports, especially those for large companies, have become extremely lengthy and complicated in recent years. And yet there are constant demands by various external parties for more and more information to be put in them. This article argues that the changing nature of business calls for more narrative reporting in annual reports.
