The coefficient of variation is the standard-deviation-to-mean ratio, which is often reported as a percentage. For body length or other size variables, the coefficient of variation is essentially the same as the standard deviation of the logtransformed variable. Compute the coefficient of variation of body length separately for male and female lice on each occasion, and report this as a table of percentages. What patterns do you see in this table for males versus females or baseline versus non-baseline?
