Comparing Leadership Styles. Divide the class into several groups. One person in each group should be appointed to lead a group discussion to answer the following question:

What should be done to lower the cost of college textbooks? Each group leader should enact a different leadership style. One group leader should be instructed to use the democratic leadership style, another group leader should use a laissez-faire leadership style, and another should use an authoritarian style. Following the group discussion, each group should discuss the pros and cons of the specific leadership style enacted in their group.
