For the same presentation you revised in Exercise 17 or another one, revise the slide titles. Read them all first. Are they logically sequenced, descriptive, and parallel? If not, revise them to meet these criteria. Then read them in sequence. Do they tell the story of your presentation? Finally, read each slide individually. Does the slide title convey all points on that slide? Do you find missing information or overlap between slides? Revise the slides as you need to, and then read the titles again in sequence to double-check for logic and cohesiveness.

Exercise 17

Find a slide presentation you created. Revise the title and agenda slides to include your main points if you didn’t in the original version. You might have to add descriptive text or remove generic points in the agenda. Did you use a main point slide? If not, create one. Try to capture the presentation in a few words or a sentence.
