Walmart employees were not unionized. A group of outside organizers called “Our Walmart” created an app that Walmart employees could use to communicate with one another and obtain legal and other workplace advice. Walmart told its managers to warn workers that the app was not made by Walmart and might be used to steal their personal information. Would that behavior on the part of managers be legal?
