Boxer purchases supplies to build a windmill with funds borrowed from Farmer’s Bank. In order to ensure repayment, Farmer’s takes a security interest in the windmill supplies. Boxer defaults on payments and Farmer’s exercises its rights over the collateral by filing a lawsuit. The court awards Farmer’s a judgment against Boxer for the debt owed plus interest and penalties.
