Respondents are classified by Gallup as “thriving” if they rate their current life a 7 or higher and their future life an 8 or higher. Daily results are based on a three-day rolling average, based on telephone interviews with approximately 1000 national adults. As of March 1, 2012, Gallup reported that 530 of 1000 adults were thriving.
