We must now advance the period to prepare Peachtree for the July transac¬ tions.

Using your mouse, click on System from the Tasks menu. Select Change Accounting Periods. You are presented with the following:

▼ Using the pull down menu, select period 7 - Jul 1, 2001 to Jul 31,2001 and click on “Ok”
▼ You will be asked whether you wish to print reports before continuing. Since we have already printed our reports, we can answer “No”.
▼ Note that the status bar at the bottom of the screen now reflects that you are in period 7. LO.1
