Bought merchandise on account from Marvin Company, $3,580; terms net 30 days. Mar. 27 Gave a 60-day, 8 percent note for $3,580, dated March 27, to Mar- vin Company to apply on account. May 26 June 8 Paid Marvin Company the amount owed on the note of March 27. Borrowed $9,000 from Tower State Bank, giving a 90-day, 7.5 per- cent note, dated June 8, for that amount (received full face value). Sept. 6 Paid Tower State Bank the amount due on the note of June 8.
