Two narrow slits are used to produce a double-slit interference pattern with monochromatic light. It is found that the third bright fringe from the center with blue light (λ₁ = 420 nm) occurs at the same place on the screen as the second bright fringe with the light of an unknown wavelength λ₂. Find λ₂. Here the central bright fringe is the fringe number “zero.”
