Impressed with the magnifi cent scenery from Vancouver during the coverage of the Winter Olympics, French and German tourists fl ock to the west coast of Canada. Use the model of demand and supply for Canadian dollars to illustrate and explain the impact this would have on the euro–Canadian dollar exchange rate in the short run.
