As a highly capable individual with a strong academic background, I am proud to say that I already possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical elements of civil engineering.
From an early age I have always been a hands on person with a knack for fitting things together and helping to solve practical problems. As I became a teenager I started to become more interested in how buildings were constructed and stood up. At school and college this curiosity led me to choosing subjects that included elements of construction and engineering. On projects I gained great satisfaction from utilizing mathematics, natural sciences, and common sense to design and build things that actually worked. This passion for engineering has led to an ambition to gain a degree qualification which I can then use as a stepping stone to becoming a civil engineer.
