Zound Industries was founded in 2008 by eight individuals coming from different backgrounds in design, product development, fi nance, marketing, sales and business. Despite its youth, it is already making a mark in the technology industry by bringing distinctive design to bear on headphones, merging the function of a sound source with fashion accessories targeted at different markets. It is one of the fastest-growing companies in Sweden, with offi ces in New York and Shenzhen, where most of the equipment it sells is manufactured.
