I personally dislike a style of management that relies on the hammer of discovery to limit employees’

misuse of computers. I'd prefer to manage by giving people work they want to do; by creating tight, but not impossible, schedules; by following up with them on progress; and by focusing on what they should be doing rather than on what they ought not to be doing.
