From the IRS Tax Stats website, determine the number of individuals who report tax-exempt interest income on their tax return and the amount of that exempt income. Find this information for individuals at different ranges of adjusted gross income (AGI). Use the data to create pie charts (or similar visuals) of the percent of AGI represented by the tax-exempt interest income exclusion, as well as the number of individuals claiming this exclusion at different AGI levels. Analyze the IRS data, draw conclusions from it, and summarize your findings in a two- to three-paragraph e-mail sent to your instructor.
