Comcast, the cable and communications provider, was one of the first companies to use Twitter for customer service. Developed by Frank Eliason, the company’s first Director of Digital Care, the Comcast Digital Care team currently manages the ComcastCares feed on Twitter. They scan Twitter for com-plaints about service and contact the customers to see how Comcast can reme-dy the situation.
