Performance Measures of Learning and Growth The following are performance measures of learning and growth:

1. Number of new certifications or degrees 2. Average life cycle time of personal computers 3. Assessment of effective communication 4. Employee turnover rate 5. Output per employee 6. Average yearly training or education hours per employee 7. Survey of employee satisfaction 8. Amount of time spent in teamwork versus individual work Identify which of these learning and growth measures are leading performance measures and which are outcome performance measures. Also, if they are leading performance measures, identify whether they would be classified as cost, quality, or time measures and whether they relate to employee, information system, or organizational structure capabilities.

If they are outcome performance measures, identify whether they relate to employee retention, employee satisfaction, or employee productivity.
