Information is the key to a successful business. The loss of information can inhibit the ability of accountants to  prepare reports and managers to make business decisions. Computer viruses can cause the information in computer files to be destroyed and, therefore, are a serious problem for businesses of all sizes.

Required:

1. Go to the library and research computer viruses.

2. Write a short report about computer viruses. Include the following items:

a. A description of one particular computer virus.

b. The origin of the virus.

c. Ways to prevent your computer from getting a virus.

d. The action to take if you detect a virus.
