My tutoring experience in freelancing math department is only about 3 months. At first it was very intimidating to step into a helping students with there problem. After getting acquainted with the students, and procedures, I felt more comfortable in really motivating the students to do their work. It was then that I felt that I was a positive presence in the online classes.
