A semitransparent slab of photoresist is being exposed to ultraviolet radiation. When exposed, the photoresist generates heat in direct proportion to the intensity of the radiation. The radiation intensity decreases exponentially as it penetrates the lab. We would like to know the temperature distribution within the exposed portion of the slab. The situation is shown in Figure P9.24.
