(July 1995) study of galaxy velocity, Exercise 121 . The observed velocity of a galaxy located in galaxy cluster A2142 was found to have a normal distribution with a mean of 27,117 kilometers per second (km/s) and a standard deviation of 1,280 km/s. A galaxy with a velocity of 24,350 km/s is observed. Comment on the likelihood of this galaxy being located in cluster A2142.
