51. (Core competencies) As a team, make a list of the core competencies of your college or university and explain why you believe these items to be core competencies.

Make appointments with the dean, one vice president, and, if possible, the president of your college or university, and without sharing your list, ask these individuals what they believe the core competencies to be and why.

Prepare a written or video presentation that summarizes, compares, and contrasts all the lists. Share copies of your presentation with all the individuals you contacted.
