To appreciate the variables in the decision-making process and understand the influence of culture on decision making.

Eight student volunteers will participate in the role-play. Four represent a Japanese automobile manufacturer, and four represent a U.S. team that has come to sell microchips and other components to the Japanese company. The remainder of the class will observe the negotiations.
