Cylinder diameter \(=270 \mathrm{~mm}\), stroke length \(=380 \mathrm{~mm}\), mean effective pressure \(=6 \mathrm{bar}\), engine speed \(=250 \mathrm{rpm}\), net load on brake \(=1000 \mathrm{~N}\), effective diameter of brake of brake \(=\) \(1.5 \mathrm{~m}\), fuel used \(=10 \mathrm{~kg} / \mathrm{h}, C V\) of fuel \(=44,400 \mathrm{~kJ} / \mathrm{kg}\).

Calculate

(a) BP,

(b) IP,

(c) mechanical efficiency, and

(d) thermal efficiency.
