Susan, a manager in a local company, became romantically involved with one of her subordinates at work. They sent love messages back and forth by using the company’s Internet connection. The company regularly monitored its employee’s on-the-job e-mails and had a policy against such personal involvements. As a consequence, Susan was fired. She brought suit for invasion of privacy.
