Woodward et al. (1941) report several data sets, one of which examines the relationship between exposure to chloracetic acid and the death of mice. Ten mice were exposed at each dose level. The data are given in Table 4.21. Doses are measured in grams per kilogram of body weight. Fit the logistic regression model of Exercise 4.8.9 and estimate the LD(50). Try to determine how well the model fits the data.
