1. In light of the circumstances described in this dilemma, what would be the fairest course of action for June to take for: The teachers? The principal? The students and their parents? The community? Would it make a difference if she knew that everyone else in other nearby schools were doing the same thing? Does it matter that a state takeover would spell disaster for the district, end in loss of jobs for the teachers and would likely make matters worse for the students? If this were the case, would the teachers’ actions be justified?
