Ask each learner to keep a personal diary in class, shared with no one but themselves. Every clinical day, ask that they enter one critical situation involving communication with a peer, superior, or follower followed by their responsive behavior in that situation. Looking back, on what belief was their responsive behavior based. Separate fact from fiction—or, what the actual situation presented from what was interpreted based on previous experience. Review and stay aware of the differences.
