• Postcrisis is a period of investigation and recovery. Moral leaders try to determine what went wrong and institute corrective measures. They also help the group (1) salvage its reputation, (2) engage in crisis learning, (3) begin the healing process by honoring victims and looking to future opportunities, and (4) foster resilience (the ability to bounce back from future crises).
