The issue of resources plays a critical role in all problem solving. In dealing with this issue, leaders should keep in mind the following rule of thumb:

a. It is always possible to find more money if you look for it.

b. Providing additional resources is not the way to reach a sustainable solution.

c. Allocating more resources is necessary for solving problems.

d. Budgeting adequate resources is part of all planning.
