Using the work begun in Chapter 4, specifically the analysis of the learner’s home environment and a group project, refocus on the goal as well as on the follower’s performance readiness levels. Using Situational Leadership, identify the best leader behavior style that you would use on friends and/or family to begin to motivate and educate them to accomplish the specified goal. Again, what follower behaviors would suggest that you should move forward one quadrant or backwards one quadrant? Write out behaviorally what you would do in the leader behavior quadrant that should begin your journey with followers toward goal accomplishment.
