EXERCISE 21.3: A CAT/DIF LITERATURE SEARCH OBJECTIVE: To become familiar with the CAT and DIF literature.

Either individually or in small groups, perform a literature search to find a recent empirical article that provides an example of the application of IRT to an applied testing situation that specifically addresses CAT or DIF. Then write a brief summary and/or make a short presentation to the class summarizing the application of IRT with a focus on critiquing the use of IRT for that particular application of CAT or DIF.
