Class discussion (in groups or as a class) should centre on whether the theories described in the chapter discuss some of the leadership universals identified by the groups. Are there theories that also include some of the situational challenges uncovered? Which leadership theory seems best equipped for explaining effective leadership across a wide variety of leader types? LO7
